A plaque has been installed on the Abbey Gateway to honour Jane Austen. It is part of 250th anniversary celebrations of the novelist's birth.

Exhibition tells story of local people and the River Thames

The new exhibition at the Royal Berkshire Archives is on from 11 June to 29 August. It includes records from the earliest settlers to interviews with current river users.
