Advocacy

Advocates can help you to speak for yourself and get your views across, or if you are not able to then they can speak on your behalf. Advocates are not able to make decisions for you or campaign on your behalf.

We have worked with an organisation called The Advocacy People since 2019 and we commission the following advocacy services from them:

  • Independent Mental Health Advocacy
  • Care Act Advocacy
  • NHS complaints advocacy
  • Social Care complaints advocacy
  • Independent Mental Capacity Act
  • Relevant Persons Paid Representative
  • Litigation Friend
  • A 1.2 Representative Advocacy service
