Reading Sports Award 2024

Do you know someone at your club, school or college who has achieved something special this year?

Or perhaps you have a long serving member who deserves recognition, or you feel your club deserves a sports award for outstanding achievements.

Well this is your chance to nominate them to receive an award.

Returning in this bumper packed year of sport, Reading Sports Awards are asking you to nominate a sports club, team or exceptional person who deserves to be recognised as a local sports hero!

The categories are:

• Improver of the Year
• Club person of the Year
• Katie Henderson Memorial Trophy for Commitment to Sport
• Veteran of the Year
• Mayor’s Award
• Helper/ Loyalty Award
• School Personality of the Year
• Junior Team of the Year
• Team of the Year
• Club of the Year
• Junior Sports Personality of the Year
• Sports Personality of the Year (Richard Burns Memorial Trophy)

The only qualifying criteria is that the nominee(s) must either live in the Borough of Reading or be a pupil at a Reading based school.

The deadline for nominations is Friday 20 September 2024.
