Teacher permits

Teachers, teaching assistants and trainee teachers may apply for a permit (limited to certain schools within a Parking Permit Zone); a £48 fee applies; proof of teacher status and vehicle ownership required.

All permits will be valid for a maximum of one year from issue. The parking permits are restricted to term time only parking, between 7am and 8pm. The school must have no or little off-street parking.

Please ensure the school address is used, not your home address.

Proof of teacher status

Confirmation of employment as teacher at school, for example a letter on headed paper from head teacher.

Proof of ownership of vehicle

Only one proof required

• DVLA registration document (V5C)
• Current insurance certificate/schedule
