Reading West Station upgrade

The issue

Access to Reading West station is not accessible for all from Oxford Road. There are steps to both platforms making it impossible for mobility impaired people to use.

The platforms on the station are narrow and they offer limited shelter from the weather.

Buses along the Oxford Road can be delayed due to congestion which affects journey times and reliability.
