A standard-sized bin is usually big enough to take most household’s general waste. If you sometimes have more waste than will fit into your bin, check you have recycled all you can.
You can also book a slot to take your extra rubbish to the recycling centre.
If you regularly have more waste than can fit in your grey bin, extra waste may be approved depending on the circumstances, though we may visit your property to check if you could recycle more. We usually process applications within 4 weeks.
